Do you provide travel Support for the onsite phase if one qualifies?

    If your team gets shortlisted, please get in touch with us via hackathon@genaizurich.com
    We have a limited budget available for travel reimbursements and will use it and prioritize teams on a needs basis.

    For international teams: will invitation letters be issued right after shortlisting for visa purposes? Also, can we join remotely if visa timelines don’t work out?

    Hello Anshul
    Thanks a lot for reaching out and also for participating in the Hackathon.
    As you might have seen in the sign up, this Hackathon is split into the online and on-site phase and it is required that at least one team member need to be on-site if a team is selected.
    Since the finalists will only be known on March 25 evening, facilitating visas for teams or team members from non-Schengen countries within that timeframe will be impossible.
    For this Hackathon one of the conditions is that at least one team member needs to attend the on-site phase.
    We decided to support selected teams from abroad to present their prototypes to a broader community in an aiLights online series after April 13th. This is not related to any award but you'd get additional visibility for your project.
